Corruption and crime reign over the economy of St. Petersburg

All of these incidents are showing that there is a corruption and crime reign over the economy of St. Petersburg instead of law and fair competition. There’s no protection of private property, no guarantees of investments. Public authorities, including the executive branch, courts, police, prosecutors, acting in concert with the dishonest businessmen; all of them are engaged in misappropriation of others investments, another’s businesses, another’s property, another’s money. Neither crisis nor unemployment nor the rising social tension can keep down their avidity.

As a result, buildings and their systems are fall into decay, quality of service does not increase. Huge amounts of money allocated for housing and communal services.

The Sphere of the Tenant relations: Small businessmen have rented premises from the city authorities. Entrepreneurs have invested huge amounts of money to repair of the premises; many of them were in emergency state before. Then, The Government of St. Petersburg sold many of the premises to others, without any compensation for tenants.
